OVERVIEW

Margaret is a Research Support Officer in the Offshore Renewable Energy group.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Margaret is currently working on the Selkie project. She is performing Extreme Value Analysis of wave heights and wind speeds and assessing weather window availability for display on the Selkie GIS-TE tool.

BACKGROUND

Margaret has over 10 years’ experience in the offshore oil and gas industry where she worked in several different areas including Flow Assurance, Integrity Management, Structural Analysis, and Finite Element Software development.  She holds a Masters in Interactive Multimedia and a degree in Civil Engineering, both completed with UCC.
