OVERVIEW

Roberto holds a bachelors degree in civil engineering from the University of Extremadura, Spain, specializing in transport and urban services. He then went on to complete a master’s degree in construction engineering at the University of Pais Vasco, Bilbao, Spain achieving a first-class honour. Most recently, he has finished a master’s degree at the University Isabel I Burgos specializing in building information modelling (BIM). 

CURRENT ACTIVIITES 

Currently working on the GIS funded research in geohazard monitoring of at-risk slopes and historic structures using BIM software.

This project will investigate the potential of combining Building Information Modelling (BIM) with real-time geotechnical monitoring to provide a valuable tool for assessing geohazards.
