CURRENT ACTIVITIES: Is currently a Masters Research student. Coming from a background in Economics, his research focuses on innovation management within marine energy SMEs. He is  currently working with Cork University Business School, MaREI and The Marine Energy Alliance studying European wave and tidal energy device manufacturers. The research uses in-depth qualitative analysis to uncover how these firms engage with open innovation and how they can effectively manage their proprietary information in the process. 

BACKGROUND: Recent Graduate from BA (Hons) Economics at University College Cork. Graduated first in class and was awarded Cork University Business School’s Dean’s List award – prestigious annual award in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
