AtlanticFloat awarded the MRIA Prize for MaREI Research Project of the Year
Congratulations to the AtlanticFloat project team in MaREI at University College Cork who have been awarded the MRIA Prize for MaREI Research Project of the Year.
Funded by the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI), AtlanticFloat focuseses on the dynamic nature of floating wind turbines in Atlantic conditions, and the impact that will have on the structural design of the platform, turbine and moorings, as well as the nacelle working conditions for O&M activity.
