Dr Tara Shine is an environmental scientist with over 20 years’ experience working at the international level on climate change and sustainable development. She works as an adviser to governments, world leaders, businesses and international organisations. She is Director of the social enterprise Change by Degrees which aims to make sustainability convenient for business and communities. In 2018 she co-founded the community initiative Plastic Free Kinsale, to reduce single use plastics in her town.
