Ecostructure project’s final event on Eco-engineering and Biosecurity of Coastal and Marine Structures!
This conference marks the completion of Ecostructure, a five-year interdisciplinary research project part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund through the Ireland Wales Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.

Time: 10 am – 5 pm BST
Location: Option to attend at Aberystwyth University or online.
The conference will showcase the tools, resources and methodologies developed by Ecostructure to facilitate eco-engineering and biosecurity of new and existing structures in the coastal and marine environments of the Irish Sea, and will provide insights into the scientific research behind these innovations. The conference is intended for anyone with an interest in the environmental impacts of coastal defences, maritime infrastructure and offshore renewable energy, whether that interest is academic or applied.
The conference will be hybrid, with the option to attend in person at Aberystwyth University in Wales, or online.
