About this event:

This event will be hosted by Ms. Cliona Manahan, Irish Ambassador to the Czech Republic and Ukraine, Department of Foreign Affairs, Ireland.

The communities in West Cork, Cascais and Kladno have already collaborated in developing project proposals for EU Horizon funding for the demonstration of innovative approaches to renewable energy and energy efficiency. This event will open up opportunities to deepen and strengthen this ongoing dialogue as well as offering a model of inter-regional collaboration on climate action and engaging stakeholders in business, communities, civil society and municipalities. Cooperation at this level can help to identify approaches for mobilizing support for the necessary action that will deliver ambitious EU wide targets on climate action.
