MaREI Symposium 2019

‘Collaborating today for a sustainable tomorrow’

The MaREI Symposium 2019 was held on the 6th and 7th of November in the University of Limerick.

This year’s theme was ‘Collaborating today for a sustainable tomorrow’ and the event saw 180 of our team meet up to talk about our research in Energy, Climate and Marine.

Since our creation in 2013, MaREI has grown into a research centre with over 200 researchers in twelve 3rd level and research institutes in Ireland. We are now working with collaborators in more than 36 countries and 50 industry partners.

It is our commitment to focus on excellent research, development and innovation that informs policy, supports industry and empowers society.

MaREI, is the SFI Research Centre for Energy, Climate and Marine.

A huge thank you again to all of the UL Team who gave their time and support in organising and running the 2019 MaREI Symposium
