The European Marine Board Position paper No. 24 and flagship publication “Navigating the Future V: Marine Science for a Sustainable Future” (NFV) was launched today, Tuesday 11th June 2019 at 11:00, during EurOCEAN2019 at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris.

This is a significant foresight document and has been well received by both the European Union and the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (IOC) of UNESCO and has significant contributions from MaREI researchers from RA4 Coastal and Marine Systems – Jeremy Gault was the coordinating author of Chapter 3 A multi-stressed and rapidly changing ocean with Martin LeTissier a contributing author to the same chapter and Val Cummins was the coordinating author for Chapter 6 Sustainability Science for the ocean.
