OVERVIEW 

Dr Alba Rodríguez González is a postdoctoral researcher at Maynooth University, currently working on Energy Data Spaces and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) in the energy sector. Her research explores the integration of digital technologies and data governance frameworks to support the decarbonisation and decentralisation of energy systems. Dr Rodríguez González holds a PhD and MSc in Finance from Technological University Dublin (TU Dublin), where her doctoral work focused on quantitative modelling in energy and financial markets. She also holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of La Laguna (ULL).

With a multidisciplinary background bridging mathematics, finance, and energy, she brings a data-centric and systems-oriented approach to the digital transformation of the energy sector.
