OVERVIEW

Dr Carlos Ochoa is an architect with a specialization in sustainable environmental design analysis. He has researched the efficient use of energy and daylight for human comfort and architectural planning of intelligent facade elements. He is also knowledgeable of the sustainable design of climate-adaptable buildings using both passive and active technologies. Currently, he is a Senior Researcher at the International Energy Research Centre, based in Cork, Ireland. He has published in different scientific journals and participated in international conferences like PLEA and CISBAT.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Currently, he is the project coordinator of the Horizon 2020 project MiniStor at the International Energy Research Centre, based in Cork, Ireland.
