OVERVIEW 

Fatemeh is an Iranian PhD researcher at NUI Galway working on the outlook for electro-fuels and H2-enriched biofuels within the HyLIGHT project. She has joined this project with the goal of becoming an expert in advanced fuels and she would like to join the industry after finishing her PhD so that she can have a real impact in the global energy transition and sustainability where it is more needed.

BACKGROUND

Fatemeh is passionate about the global energy transition and sustainability, and she has been pursuing this passion since when she joined the master’s program in energy and environment at École Polytechnique (Paris) in 2018. She studied management, entrepreneurship and innovation at ESADE Business School (Barcelona) and she worked at ENGIE Global Markets in Paris with the sustainability and innovation team before joining the HyLIGHT project.
