OVERVIEW
Jalal Faraji earned his B.S. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Bu-Ali Sina University, Iran, in 2012, followed by an M.S. degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran, in 2015. From 2013 to 2016, he worked as a researcher at Niroo Research Institute (NRI) in Tehran, Iran. He also served as an instructor in a teaching-focused role at TVU, Iran, from 2016 to 2019. He is pursuing a PhD in Electrical Power Engineering at University College Cork (UCC), Cork, Ireland. He has co-authored several papers and published books. His primary research interests include demand response, power consumption prediction, DSM, flexibility, reliability, and power market structure at a community level.
