OVERVIEW 

Mohamed is an Egyptian PhD student assigned to the FLEX4FACT project at UCC, he completed his master’s degree in Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Milano University, and his bachelor’s degree title was Energy and Renewable Energy Engineering at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. From the degree titles you can notice how passionate he is about the energy and renewable energy sector.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

He’s now joined the School of Engineering at University College Cork, as a PhD Researcher on the FLEX4FACT project. Technical description of the project: Industrial cluster flexibility platform for sustainable factories to reduce CO2 emissions and enable the energy transition. The FLEX4FACT project aims to develop an end-to-end ecosystem that adopts a modular approach to enable flexible production in industry and create the conditions for the necessary energy transition in which all stakeholders can participate and benefit.
