PhD Student
Postgraduate Student
University of Galway Energy Transition Energy Management

OVERVIEW

Soheil Fathi is a Ph.D. student at the University of Galway. His Ph.D. project is about finding agile and lean engineering solutions to design resilient classrooms that can satisfy the needs of energy efficiency and occupants’ comfort and achieve sufficient indoor environmental quality during the challenged operational phase.

CURRENT ACTIVITIES

Soheil works on his research project under the supervision of Dr. Jamie Goggins. He works on finding solutions to have classrooms that are resilient to future challenges to indoor environmental quality and satisfy the needs of energy efficiency and occupants’ comfort.

BACKGROUND

Soheil received his B.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering from the University of Tabriz in 2016. Also, he received his M.Sc. degree in Architectural Engineering from Razi University in 2020. His master’s thesis was about the effect of electrochromic windows on the energy consumption of high-rise office buildings in Iran.
