Position Summary
We invite applications for the position of Post-Doctoral Researcher or Senior Post-Doctoral Researcher to join our dynamic team within the Offshore Renewable Energy Research Group. This position is primarily part of the IDEA-IRL project, which focuses on contributing to the International Energy Agency task 49: IDEA which is developing integrated designs for floating offshore wind arrays. The IDEA-IRL project specifically focuses on designing farm scenarios and a Floating Offshore Wind development roadmap for Ireland. The position may also involve working on the AtlanticFloat project https://www.marei.ie/project/atlanticfloat/ which aims to determine the criteria that floating platforms will need to achieve in order to operate reliability and achieve 90+% availability on the West Coast of Ireland.
