The Irish Solar Energy Association (ISEA) Annual Conference is growing, and will take place in the RDS, on 1st October 2024. This year’s conference theme is: Road to 2030. 

The outlook for 2024 remains promising: the momentum in the market continues to signal a bright and prosperous future for those investing time and resources into developing solar projects. As we get ready for Solar Ireland 2024: Road to 2030, scheduled to take place at the RDS in Dublin on October 1st, we look forward for insightful discussions and forward-thinking strategies. This year’s conference will serve as a pivotal milestone in our journey towards delivering on the Government’s targets for the solar industry.

Anne Marie O’Hagan, from University College Cork, will present on “Floating Solar” at the “Future Technology in Solar” session at Solar Ireland 2024. Anne Marie will explore the benefits and challenges of deploying solar panels on bodies of water, offering insights into this innovative technology.

Dr. Paul Deane, from University College Cork, will participate in a panel discussion on Biodiversity and Agriculture. Paul is one of the top ten most cited academics globally in his field of energy modelling. His research examines how society can move away from polluting fossil fuels to cleaner and safer alternatives.
