IPCC’s Prof. Peter Thorne join MaREI researcher in new climate change podcast series

New podcast where MaREI’s Dr Roisin Moriarty and Dr Clare Noone talk to experts on climate change—about what they do…but more importantly, about how they feel about it. Sometimes when scientists and researchers speak, the language can make it hard for the public to connect. They want to change that. They want to make that connection—so they’re opening up a more human conversation about climate change.

Their first guest on the podcast is the inspirational Professor Peter Thorne. Peter is one of Ireland’s leading climate scientists, a Coordinating Lead Author for the IPCC, and a Lead Author of Ireland’s Climate Change Assessment. His work bridges science with real-world policy, shaping how Ireland (and the world) understands and responds to climate change.
