Mohammadali Babanejadi graduated with a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Tehran, Iran. After graduation, he started working as a process engineer for three years. His major role was process simulation and preparing engineering documents like datasheets and diagrams. Due to his work experience, he knows equipment design and sizing, process simulation, and natural gas distribution networks.

Mohammadali is currently doing his PhD under the supervision of Prof. Richard O’Shea and the co-supervision of Prof. Archishman Bose and Prof. Jerry D. Murphy. His focus is on using Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis methods to find the most sustainable green fuel. He will use process simulation software, Life Cycle Assessment, and MCDA approaches.
